Transplant Type - Bone Marrow
Melissa was diagnosed with leukemia in 2003. Doctors feel a bone marrow transplant could save Melissa's life.
Although she has a difficult road ahead, Melissa remains positive and continues to enjoy reading, interior design and hosting church functions.
Melissa needs financial assistance, and most importantly - a matching marrow donor so she can a receive the transplant she desperately needs. The need for bone marrow/stem cell donors is particularly crucial for those of Latino descent.
