Transplant Type - Heart

After battling heart disease for many years, Diana received her lifesaving transplant in September 2000. Unfortunately, her fight is far from over.

The average heart transplant costs approximately $600,000. Even with insurance, she still faces significant financial burdens related to her transplant. She will need follow-up care and expensive daily medications for the rest of her life. Without them, Diana's body will reject her new heart.
