Transplant Type - Kidney

Latonya has faced many health complications in her young life. She was diagnosed with kidney failure when she was six months pregnant. What should have been a joyous time in her life was instead a time filled with worry about her health.

As she awaits a lifesaving kidney transplant, Latonya dreams of the day when she can return to work and provide for her daughter, Angel.

The average kidney transplant costs approximately $250,000, but that's just the beginning. Latonya's health insurance will not cover all her expenses, which are significant. She will need a lifetime of follow-up care and daily anti-rejection medications. These medications alone can cost as much as $5,000 a month, and they are as critical to her survival as the transplant itself.

Latonya currently endures painful dialysis treatments three times a week to keep her kidneys functioning. Her declining health has left her unable to work, making these financial challenges even more of a burden.

You can help! Your gift to the NFT South Carolina Kidney Fund in Latonya's honor will enable NFT to assist with her transplant expenses. You may make a secure online donation by clicking on the link under her photo. If you prefer to mail your donation, please send it to NFT South Carolina Kidney Fund, 5350 Poplar Ave., Suite 430, Memphis, TN 38119. Please be sure to write "in honor of Latonya Quattlebaum" in the memo line.

Thank you for your generosity!
