Transplant Type - Bone Marrow

Reggie was diagnosed with chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) in 2005 and has since faced many health challenges. The disease has no cure, and medication became insufficient to treat his illness. His only hope was a bone marrow transplant.

Fortunately, Reggie received his lifesaving transplant in November 2008.

A bone marrow transplant costs approximately $250,000, and Reggie's health insurance will cover only a portion of these expenses. He also needs follow-up care and daily anti-rejection medications for the rest of his life. The medications alone can cost as much as $5,000 each month, and they are as critical to his survival as the transplant itself.
