Transplant Type - Kidney

Danielle is a 22-year-old student from Twin Falls who has been battling diabetes. She has now been diagnosed with end stage renal disease and is having to deal with the challenges of dialysis four times a day. There is hope for a quality life for Danielle--a kidney transplant.

Just starting out on her own, the cost of a transplant is overwhelming. Her basic insurance isn't adequate enough to deal with her needs.

Danielle will need a $10,000 deposit before she can be transplanted. Her out-of-pocket costs for post-transplant medications the first year are estimated at $20,000.
